The venue has a rich history, having been originally owned by Alexander Moore in 1785. After changing hands a few times, it was purchased by Jane E. Conner in 1849 after her husband died. It has been kept in the Conner family for six generations.

They can offer you a choice between a variety of packages and services, which can be customized to your requirements. Among the various amenities offered, the team at Linden has a limited number of linens, tables, chairs, two bar set-ups, movable 50 amp electrical service, and 1949 vintage Packard automobile for arriving and departing the ceremony. Again, as a Linden Bride you, your wedding party, and guests have exclusive use of Linden and her grounds during your event.

Upon entry, people will be drawn to the familiar-looking front door, designed to replicate Tara’s front door from Gone with the Wind. Once the venue has been thoroughly investigated, couples have the choice to say “I do” outdoors, under the majestic oak tree, or in the perfectly manicured Arbor Gardens. Photo opportunities are presented around every corner, backdropped by numerous scenic locations and picturesque views. It is recommended that couples plan for a tent for receptions, and a dance floor if there is entertainment. Linden is the ideal venue for weddings of approximately 150 guests or less.
