The Gatewood is a beautiful, historic wedding venue based in La Grange, KY. Located less than a thirty minute drive from Louisville, The Gatewood provides a laid-back yet sophisticated setting while still being close enough to all conveniences of the city.

Built in 1908, this Kentucky wedding venue has been beautifully restored and has since hosted hundreds of events. You and your partner can become a part of the building’s history when you choose to hold your wedding at The Gatewood. This Kentuckiana wedding venue is just as suited to small, intimate gatherings of 10-20 individuals as it is for larger celebrations of up to 150 individuals. Inside, there are several unique spaces across multiple floors for your ceremony and reception, as well as other pre-wedding celebrations, such as showers and rehearsal dinner. The exposed brick and wooden floors featured throughout combine to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for your festivities, while the glittering chandeliers add a touch of elegance. The Gatewood offers couples complete flexibility for their wedding celebrations. The entire building can be rented out for the duration of your special day.
