New Orleans native Tyron “Bogey” Thornton and the talented troubadours of The Viceroy ply their trade with much derring-do. Covering classic soul and R&B from every era along with retro rock/pop and on to today’s dance party hits and chart-toppers, Bogey & the Viceroy performances lead to packed dance floors and good times!
Best known for upbeat Dance party music, Bogey & the Viceroy can provide versatile entertainment options for just about any setting. Most performances feature an 8-piece band with a horn section and female backing vocalist, but on certain occasions, we bring our sporty compact model – The Bogey & the Viceroy 5 – featuring Bogey and the rockin’ rhythm section.
Having performed for hundreds of couples over the last 10 years, we know how to help you celebrate your Big Day! Weddings are where Bogey & the Viceroy really shine, with poignant special dance moments, high energy dance sets, perfect timing and event flow, and the experience and dedication to make this the best party you two will ever throw!
Bogey is an expert at handling emcee duties, getting out among the guests, reading the room to play what they want to hear, and keeping the dance floor full. We’re always happy to learn a few special requests if there is a tune you don’t see listed in our ever-expanding repertoire of “Swanky Soul to Rock n Roll”.
