Established initially as a mother-daughter team, they have since expanded to feature a team of skilled coordinators and designers. From your reception table details to your guest list, they will ensure each element of your big day is taken care of.

Blue Satin Bee first started in 2011 by Teresa and her daughter Kim. Teresa has over 13 years of planning experience, while Kim acts as a jack-of-all-trades for couples to rely on. The team now consists of five hardworking individuals who love helping couples bring their vision to life. While based in Southport, they are happy to work with soon-to-be-weds throughout Oak Island, Ocean Isle, Wilmington, and beyond.

To make sure that every soon-to-be-wed has all the attention they need, each planner commits to no more than 20 weddings per year. Blue Satin Bee has a variety of packages to choose from catered to full-service planning and day-of management. Elopement packages are also available for couples that prefer an intimate, low-key celebration.
