Montrose, a Venue in Holly Springs, MS Built by Alfred Brooks in 1858, as a wedding gift for his daughter, Margaret, Montrose is still serving brides today. Montrose showcases the classic Greek Revival architecture. The interior features a graceful circular stairway, parquet floors, beautiful cornices and ornate ceiling medallions. The gardens and the wooded land surrounding Montrose is one of the unique arboretums in Mississippi. All proceeds go towards the restoration and preservation of Montrose by the Holly Springs Garden Club.
