Owner Melissa inherited the property from her mother and father-in-law, Della Mae and Edwin, beautifully honoring the former with the name. This venue sits on over 33 acres of rolling hills and woods. The Della Mae offers a number of magical locations for an outdoor ceremony under the warm Kentucky sun. You and your partner have so many options where you can choose to tie the knot. The sparkling blue lake at the bottom of the garden, with ample space for an altar, arch, and aisle, is ideal for an al fresco exchange of vows. The barn also has an area for an indoor ceremony, with sliding doors opening out onto the reception space. This entire setting is surrounded by tall trees, making the perfect backdrop for newlywed and wedding party photographs. After swapping vows and saying "I do," your loved ones can follow you to the outdoor porch for a toast with a cocktail or libation of choice. Then, onwards to the wedding reception, as you pull open the sliding doors and lay your eyes on the fully customizable wedding barn. This beautiful modern interior can accommodate up to 200 of your nearest and dearest for a delicious feast as the party starts flowing.
